My Bio
All of my pieces are original and one of a kind museum quality products. My work has been made available through the Alaska Mint, Anchorage Museum, and through private collectors. I have had requests through Native Corporations, private parties, local business', as well as family and friends...and their friends. I am open to producing non traditional renditions of art as well as traditional/real life replication.

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. I am primarily self taught, having learned and developed my skill moving from one medium (type of art) to the next until I mastered it. I am a continuous student of the Arts, learning and listening to other artist always striving to improve my technique.

I was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska, which is known as the last frontier. This vast and wild land provided a tremendous opportunity to develop my creativity, imagination, and aspirations.

My parents provided exposure to the indigenous wildlife of Alaska on a daily basis. Whether it was crabbing in Valdez, or bow hunting in the Brooks Range for dull sheep and mountain goats, or flying into the cabin on the Minto flats for duck season; I spent most of my life living and working there. As a young adult, I lived on the North Slope and under the supervision of my Uncle, participated in traditional whaling done by the Inupiat Eskimo whaling crew he captained; the village depended upon the subsistence whaling to survive the year. I spent many hours studying the behavior of the seals, walrus', polar bears, and whales.

My fascination with any living creature is something you will recognize in my art work. I have a vivid memory and a heightened understanding of wild life that I bring to life in my work.

Hi,
Your works are really wonderful but I am disturbed by the whiteness of your ivory, as it is really "fresh"...I hope it isn't furnished by the chinese market which is known to have no regards on the source of "production" of ivory...Look out about that...
Had to drop some breadcrumbs but misplaced my bag, so I left a Watch.
Beautiful work and talent, I truly love your scrimshaw work your whole gallery speaks highly of your artistic abilities!
Wow, what beautiful artwork. Thank you so much for sharing it with us! You are a great inspiration.
I took the liberty of fixing your whale mural in photoshop. Hope you don't mind. Uploaded the JPEG for you. Be my guest. I will be using it in a game as a wall mural if I manage to divide it up in squares. Thanks a lot: [link]

But I'm still deciding. I would like to ask how I order, should I go to 'Contact Us' and sign up?
And do you ship it? I'm am sure it said you shipped, but I want to be completely sure.
But, I'm still deciding...
Thank you!!!
